1815 Chronograph Boutique Edition Pulsometer

The 1815 series was introduced by Lange in 2004. Prior to its introduction, there was not a pure chronograph in the collection. There was of course the Datograph, but at its price level and build construction, it did not have instant mass appeal like the 1815 chronograph. Simple and elegant, the 1815 chrono is a modern classical interpretation of one of the most sought after complications in a watch. In 2015, the present boutique edition was introduced. The silver dial with blue numerals and text stand out amongst other examples as a further exemplification of the classical, but modern nature of the watch. The pulsometer scale adds to this as well. The font is thinner than earlier 1815 chronograph models. Caliber L951.5 powers the watch and its flyback chronograph functionality. It is arguably just as enchanting to look at as the dial. It's often said that modern watches do not possess the charm that vintage watches do. But it is hard to argue this point when taking in the 1815 chronograph, and especially in the case of this boutique edition configuration.
