Chronomètre Optimum Black Label

Journe designed the Chronomètre Optimum in 2001, but it wasn't until 2012 that it was introduced as part of the offerings from the brand. Combining dead beat seconds, a constant force remontoire, and other distinctly "Journe" features used across his other models, the watch is a technical achievement with the singular goal of increased timekeeping precision. This example is part of the Black Label collection, making it all the more special. Available only from F.P. Journe boutiques, Black Label models have a unique black dial that make them easily recognizable and highly rare. With a total production of around 900 watches per year, the Black Label models are a very small subset of total Journe production.
