Le Régulateur was launched as a model by Louis Erard in 2011. Like other regulators, the minutes display is prominently shown while the hour measurement is relegated to a small sub-dial. 

Famed French watchmaker Alain Silberstein and Erard teamed up in 2019 for a collaboration. Their second dalliance resulted in a trio of watches, including the present Régulateur. Utilizing primary colors and childish shapes for the hands and hour markers, the watch has Silberstein's fingerprints all over it.
